hotchkis sway bars

hotchkis sway bars
so i have to relube my front sway bar bushings every couple months or so or i get a noise everytime i go over a speed bump. creaking noise.
kind of a paint to regrease everytime. is everyone else doing this?
or is it just me?

I just swapped the poly bushings to the oem rubber ones. So quiet lol
I wonder if it will effect perfoance a lot?

I regrease mine every year or two. What grease are you using? The wrong kind (lithium based) will wash out quickly. Maybe you're not using enough grease.
The rubber ones will eventually break down and wear out, plus rubber flexes more than poly.

I check them every oil change and grease if necessary.

better yet, just drill and tap the mount for a zerk grease port just like the rears, makes the chore very simple

Thats what i did, make sure you drill thru the bushing so the grease gets to the swaybar.

I'm tempted to do that next time I remove the front. It's a pain having to readjust the endlinks every time.

Deng. I'm using Amsoil grease but it says it's lithium based
What kind of grease should I be useing?

You can get a moly greasse at any auto parts store. Hotchkis sells a silicone based grease but it pretty expensive ($25) plus you'd have to wait for shipment.
