Do you know if they plan on developing the Zero3 or better still the zero3X for the 350Z?

The price point is too high on the 3x IMO. Serious racers are going to stick with Moton, Penske, etc for the 5-6k.....something they KNOW works. Are there even any shock dynos available to the public at this point?

I love my Zero-2E's...I'm honestly surprised they came out with something new.

Maybe not in the states, but i think these are the equivalent to Moton, Penske, etc in Japan. Cusco are renowned for making quality suspension componenets.

I don't and won't doubt their market share in Japan, but I will for the states. Do you have to send them back to the rising sun for rebuild/revalve?

I just spoke to our Cusco rep. They aren't currently planning the Zero-3 or 3X for the Z33.

I'm sure Cusco could provide dyno charts. As far as the price, I feel the same way. I don't see many people running Cusco in the US, and I see even fewer people with that kind of money into their coilovers.

The Zero-2E is a great coilover, and actually is compatible with the e-Con unit (which the Zero-3S is not), but the Zero-3S has a few things the 2E doesn't have. The Zero-3S has 24 levels of damping adjustment, compared to the 2E's 5 levels.

Yes, for rebuild/revalve the need to be sent back to Japan. If you need a new shock with "factory" specs, Cusco USA usually has them. That's pretty standard for coilovers from Asia.

The rears are an "OEM style", with spring in OEM location. Some coilover companies feel that the chassis is not strong enough to handle the springs forces being placed in the OEM shock location. I've yet to see any damage from a "true" coilover on ANY car, let alone a Z, but the fact that Cusco and some others thought about the effects of moving the spring should speak volumes for their engineering staff.
