Default Tein monoflex: bent bracket

Bought a set 2nd hand off the forum (not this one) and noticed one of the bracket is bent.

Its below the collar so im thinking its something to do with brake lines. Im not sure though and the official manual doesn't really identify the bracket.

Bracket one:

Bracket two:

The part in the instruction menu (its the bracket with the screw sticking out and the small fork bracket next to it):

Hopefully someone can shed light to what these brackets are for and the severity of it being bent.

Cheers

They are for routing the brake lines around the shock. Just bend them back like in the picture. Looks like that side was in an accident.

+1, bend it back, since it's just the brake line bracket, you should be fine.

Pretty much every shock and coilover setup I have run has had bent brake line hangers when I opend the box. I just shook my head and grabbed something out of the toolbox to bend them back. No biggie.
