Alignment and Balance
I am sorry if this has been asked and answered. I tried to search the forum but could not find info. There were too many posts discussing issues with tire wear.
How often should one align and balance their tires? I tried to call several dealerships - to get different input. I can not believe how much (and drastically) the answers varied. Some of these service guys worry me.
Thanks!!

There are no set answers for this.
Balancing is only required if you feel vibrations that weren't there before or after removing the tire from the rim.
Alignment is needed when uneven tire wear is noted, if you hit something like a big pot hole or curb and it doesn't track straight, after changing suspension parts or after putting on new tires.
If everything feels good and you don't notice unusual wear don't do anything.
