Well, I have an 06 z just had for a lil over 4 months now and I'm in need of lowering it some. I have no modifications on the suspension whatsoever and I'm runnning on stock wheels. Ive looked up a lot of coilover kits and so far I've made a decision to buy these. What do you all think good buy? a diffrent brand? anything you guys might have in thought can help me fully assure my purchase. Thx

Personally I like Ksports but if I was going to spend 1k on coilovers I would go with Fortune Auto Coilovers. They will give you the spring rates you want and revalve the shocks for free and I have heard more good things about them than Ksports. Just my .02

 

tru ^^ for a lil more expensive coilover i have the cusco zero-2's and they are great!

 

fortune auto coilovers, bc racing coils. all come to mind! now i personally found a tein basic damper kit for 500$ so i didnt pass that up, im static in the rear,and i have some threads left up front. im on 18s i think if i were to go lower id sacrifice the ride quality..but honestly it feels awesome. alot of people say tein isnt worth the money. i dont think i agree, but i did buy used and i dont have the flex's my buddy loves his on his evo x mr tho. learn n live

I noticed a huge difference going from stock 04 wheel set up to my new wheels that sit in 245/275 35 profile tire. A LOT more uncomfortable.
I felt every bump and pebble on the road.

When I installed the coils I felt like I was riding on clouds.
It feels so smooth.

 

when it comes to coilovers ide suggest only these 3 brands :
- Bilstein
- KW
- OHLINS

other than that, ide keep my stock shocks

 

ughhh, the stance gr plus are pretty damn convincing with the damping adjustments :/

 

I've had bc racing coilovers for a month and love them every minute. They were 1k shipped or some where around there.

 

I've always ran Cusco, love them.
