Default Opinions on Hotchkis Springs

After much research and not wanting to kill myself (or my car) as a daily driver, I just put in a set of Hotchkis Springs. The springs level the car out and lower it just a little, and as a bonus I don't have to map out all the speed bumps in my area. After driving it a couple times and examining my work, I noticed that the fender to tire gap was inconsistent from side to side. The car might not be on a perfectly level surface, but it seems that it should be pretty close. Makes me want to find a really level surface and check road to chassis clearance. As inexpensive as they were, maybe I did get what I paid for! Anyone else with Hotchkis springs experienced or seen this?

Find a level surface, then measure the fender arch heights. Are tires worn evenly each side?

Yes, the tires from side to side are worn evenly. I'm going to get a new set of rear tires put on this week and have the alignment checked. I've searched other posts and other people have seen this before as well. I wonder is Hotchkis has a quality issue?

This.
In my parents driveway, my tire to fender was all sorts of messed up.
This pissed me off because adjusting coilovers isn't exactly fun.

I went to a leveled area. My drop was all around near perfect :]

I had the same issue on my 2006 Z with Hotchkis springs. The rears were about the same side to side, but the front driver side had let's say 2 fingers gap while the front passenger side had 1 finger gap. I lived with it for 5 years and eventually just went with coilovers.

Ok, finally got my new back tires and suspension aligned and got it on a flat surface. I guess I was a little premature in my criticism, as the tire to fender clearances are even all around now. As someone so eloquently put it, the clearance is a snug two fingers between the tire and fender. I will need to drive the car some to get an opinion as to how it handles. I've got a 2005 Convertible with Hotckis Springs, NISMO S Sway Bars, and Track V2 wheels shod with Bridgestone RE-11's. Thanks for all the feedback.
