Default How to inspect used Brembo brake kit?

Hi!
I want to buy used OEM brembo brake kit for my non-brembo touring. I'm meeting with seller next week and want to ask everybody what should I look for to make sure that the kit is good? I never purchased a used BK before so I simply don't know what might be wrong with it...
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Roman.

inspect the nipples for leaks, and make sure they r not rusted. besides, i had the brembo BBK and not a major improvement over the stock unless you're a hardcore track dirver. oem with ss brake lines, dot 4 brake fluid and, gd rotors and pads is not bad at all unless u want some bling bling

It is off the car, otherwise I'd try just drive it around and see.

they are asking 850$ for just the calipers, no rotors, lines or pads.
I think if I'd have time I'll stop by tomorrow to take a look.

Ask if they've ever been disassembled, and look for indications of work being done on them. The service manual says they shouldn't be separated.

There was a thread here a while back about a guy who took his Brembo calipers apart to powder coat them. He had major problems getting them to seal when put back together. Nissan doesn't sell the O-rings that go between the pieces.
