Default Eibach Sportlines... Anything else?

Okay so I am going to give you guys as much information as I can...

My girlfriend just ordered me some Eibach Sportlines for my birthday.

I understand the drop this well give me and that it will throw some things out of spec. I am also going to some Varrstoen's within this month and the specs on these are as follows:

- Front: +12 19x9.5
- Back: +12 19x 10.5

Now I would like to run some new camber arms as well? I hope you guys can suggest some good ones for me to check out.

I think this will cover everything, just wanted to get the forum's POV on what else I will need. Thanks!

John

You might be able to get away with just a rear camber kit. Look up camber arm/kit and you will find many many to choose from. Cheap ones are megan/ichiba/spc. Expensive ones are spl.

What size tires are you using? You would have to roll rear fenders.

I was expecting the roll. However I am thinking of running 245/35 in the front and 275/35 in the rear? What do you think?

245/275 will work. and you should just go ahead and roll the fr & rears, it will look better.

That is pretty much the "standard" size tires for those sizes. Very slight stretch depending on tire brand. If I was to do it again I would do at 255/35 in the front and 285/35 in the back but with your offsets I think what you have in mind is ok

My Ichiba camber and toe arms have worked perfectly for me with my Sportline drop. I'm factory spec for toe, and only .3* more negative than factory with camber. If I remember right they only cost me a little more than 100 dollars from West Covina Nissan on Ebay.

So will I need a front camber kit as well?

I'm looking to buy the Ichiba camber arms for the rear... I think the front is going to be okay... What about you guys?

My camber is off in the front, but not too much that I'm worried about it. If you have the extra money I'd go for it. I'd also upgrade your struts especially if you have a decent amount of miles on the Z.

You will gain some negative camber with the drop up front but it shouldn't be a drastic alignment number without a set of front camber arms. You won't be at a *factory spec but you will likely have what most consider an acceptable amount of negative camber for a sports car.

I dropped my front end a bit lower than Sportlines go and do not have any aftermarket front camber kit, and R/T ^ was able to get me aligned so that I'm not running ridiculously negative front camber.

You will probably need to run more-negative-than-stock rear camber to fit 275/35 without rubbing if you don't roll the fenders. If you roll the fenders you should be fine with 275/35/19 +12 offset at any camber angle.

IMO most important thing is to get your toe angle in spec. Most rear camber kits also include aftermarket toe bolts with a template to elongate the toe bolt hole. Lowered on sportlines your rear toe will definitely be out of spec. It causes the wheels to want to roll inward toward the middle of the car, while the car moves linearly down the road. Your tires will wear unevenly and eventually get loud.

Excessive camber will cause the inner edge of your tire to wear prematurely but I think it will take longer to see those effects than the effects of excessive toe.

No point of correcting the camber up front, you will need between -1.5 and -2 to clear your wheels and tires. The rear kit will be required to get the toe back in spec.

just get a SPC kit its like $525 shipped. Why do you want to run such a small tire on such a big wheel?
