Hi guys, I live in Aus and want to buy a stoptech BBK for my 350Z. I have 19x9.5 fronts and 19x10.5 rears volk GTF's. I was thinking 6pot calipers with 380mm fronts and 4pot 355mm rears.. Thoughts on this setup? and anyone know of any good stoptech vendors that will look after me? also do the stoptechs come with black calipers?

 

Havent personally seen that combo for the 350z...I've seen the 6pot caliper paired with 355 front 328mm rear 2pot calipers like in this article

Stoptech seems to be very familiar with our chassis so picking their goodies for your car would seem like an excellent choice

 

I've ordered 355mm 6pot fronts and 355mm 4pot rears. Good choice?

That will work fine, i probably would have just gotten the 332 rear rotors.

 

That's the kit I have and it's great. The larger rear rotors are a larger heat sink, but totally unnecessary. The car sure does look badass with the setup though. Not that anyone cares about looks when they buy a BBK.

 

I have the 355mm 6 piston/355mm 4 piston setup on mine and love them. Definetely overkill for the street but great at the track. Handle the heat so well

 

You had a wilwood 6/4 piston before, right? How do they compare?

 

They're overkill on the track too. The 4 pot fronts and the 2 pot rears save weight and offer the same braking performance. The only advantage of the 6 pot 4 pot is that you can run bigger pads for endurance racing which no one here does.
