Coilovers or springs?
Im having debate about what suspension set up i should go with. I know that springs will get you some what low but a better ride than coilovers, but i want coilovers so that the height adjustment is easier but dont you after market arms when you go coils?
it's basically a 2 step process
1. clearly define your goals, in detail
2. clearly define your budget
springs don't automatically give you a better ride than coilovers do...some springs have downright horrendous rides/results

with that being said, i had the eibach sportlines springs. the drop was nice...but i hated the ride.
i switched out to coilovers and went with stance gr+. night and day difference...and you can adjust to whatever height you want. i would never go back to springs and i say save up and buy coilovers from the start.
here are some pics for reference.
eibach sportline drop:

it rode "ok" and was tolerable...but i wanted more adjustability and wanted to be LOWER.
Stance GR+:

ultimately its your money and your decision, but in the end...its worth getting coilovers in my opinion. buying the a-arms and camber arms is just part of the game. you're gonna have to buy them if you want your camber within specs.
Yes i do have a budget and in the process of saving for the aftermarket arms.

i agree with this completely and also adding to this, you might as well do it right the 1st time, otherwise you just end up spending more money.

The sucess/failure of results with just springs depends on many things, including what struts they are being matched up to. Stock struts with 40k, 50k, 60k may not be the right candidate for lowering springs
Depends what your budget is. Most coilovers, particularly inexpensive ones, are not actually worth buying

Damn....That actually looks PERFECT! I'm a ride and handling freak, so I love my Nismo S Tune set up.. but it's only 3/4" drop as you can see here...

I would love a drop exactly like your Eicbachs, but handling and ride would not be to my liking. Clearance issues also can be a pain.
You know that some springs with get you lower and ride better then coilovers.
But, you want the height adjustablity that a coilover is all about.
But your concerned that dropping too low will mean you'll also have to add the cost of aftermarkt camber/toe correction
Correct?
IMO. with the words "commute and comfort" being mentioned this is what I recommend.
Shock and springMild spring rate, mild drop, excellent damping from the shocks
Tein S-tech
or
Swift
Tokico D-spec
Coilover
Not too stiff spring rate, can adjust to a .8" mild drop, good damping
Eibach Pro-S coilover
Mild spring rate, can adjust to a .8" mild drop, good damping
Bilstein Pss
Tein S-tech 350Z springs .7“.6“ (fronts are slightly progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs)
Swift 350Z linear springs .8”/.6” drop
Spring rates in LBS 336/364
Eibach Pro-S (copy of Kw Variant 1)
KW coilovers Variant 1
twintube construction, non adjustable damping, reuses oem upper shock mounts
Spring rates Front 485lbs to 525Lbs Rear: 240Lbs to 548Lbs (progressive springs)
Min and Max ride height Front: -.8”/-1.5” Rear: -.8”/-1.5”
Bilstein PSS coil over (Monotube construction, reuses oem upper shock mounts, non adjustable dampners)
Spring rates 370/240-420 (rear progressive)
The Tein Basic was discontinued in favor of the new Street Basis line.

As recommended above, The Bilstein PSS is or the dampening adjustable PSS10 (I have these now in my own car) would be terrific choices, but are going to be higher than your price point. The Eibach would also be a nice choice, but again, more than your proposed budget with the Tein's
