hallo, I had to replace my brake pads so I bought brand new non brembo NISMO pads
after change them I can hear horrible rattling and squealing while driving
it is so noisy that I am affraid to drive my Z now
I have not installed my OEM pad shims because of metal pieces that looks like shims on new pads

do you think guys that lack of shims can cause this noise? or there can be different reason?

 

Is the noise only when braking or all the time when driving? Did you have a shop do the install or you did it yourself? Shims are generally installed to reduce noise (vibration) which is squealing. As for the rattling noise, you need to be more specific.

 

when I push break little more strange noise goes away, I did my change myself, someone has this problem before?
