Default diff bushing

so my diff bushing is shot~ i need a new one and it seems like my only option is the SPL solid diff bushing.

cost an arm and a leg for parts and install.

but the thing is i couldnt even really tell my bushing was gone until i lifted the car and saw the leaking marks.

so i was thinking if i should just leave it alone?

or maybe get a diff brace??

thanks

Replace it.
A brace will just be a bandaid

i just installed the energy solid poly bushing.

its probably best to do all three ..i was dumb enough to only replace the rear bushing and the differential was still making a clunking noise so i had to buy the whole kit including the rear bushing which i already installed ......i installed the front two bushings on the diff and the noise was all gone ..my advice do all three bushings at the same time it will save you having to drop the diff twice.

Any poly bushing is "solid" poly....no silicone inside like oem.

Fyi: Typically the term "solid", when talking about bushings, is used when talking about solid metal bushings

This guy only has two options: solid metal or poly....

If you want a soft poly, go with whiteline (closest you can get to oem)

If you want something firm, but not too much noise, go with energy suspension

If you want the best performance possible, get solid bushings (exp: spl, sikky, ams)

Poly is still considered a soft bushings, even Delrin is considered a soft bushing. Solid is for metal.

I'm sure you can get AM Performance to make you one, JasonZYA may be able to do it too.

Hi,

we have alerts in place to help answer any technical enquiries in forums and seen that you are looking for diff bushing solutions.

We now have released a synthetic elastomer bushing solution for the 350z with voiding so the bushing is not as solid as some other alternatives. See the picture below or click this link to view the release document.

http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/bul...e%20BL-385.pdf

These are available from any Whiteline re- seller and maybe a sponsored trader on here can supply these as we are not here to sell direct just to offer advice and parts you request .
Places like the people below sponsor this forum and can supply them .
