Help removing OEM rear toe bolt for SPC
Okay so i read through the suspension 101 and many other threads with pictures describing how to remove the oem toe bolt. I put in the adjustable camber arms no problem.
Toe bolt:
1)Raised rear spring bucket with jack to reduce load on it
2)Got the oem toe bolt nut off
3)Manually and air tool ratcheted the toe bolt to remove it, but it wouldnt come out.
It would move outwards just a little then come back forward. While i was trying to remove it the car/spring bucket was moving back and forth (adjusting the toe i presume as the bolt was spinning).
But again the bolt just would not come out or even move very far out.
Any suggestions on what to do here? I searched the forum and google, seems like im the only person that wasnt able to get the bolt out...
Thanks

When I've removed them each time, after the rear was in the air, I just lifted the jack until it was touching the spring bucket & not enough to apply any pressure. This was mainly to keep the spring from pushing the bucket/arm down as I removed the toe bolt. (Danger of stripping bolt and danger getting hurt when releasing that much load from the spring and bucket all at once if you don't.)
I then removed the nut, and used a rubber mallet to knock the bolt through, then used a short pry bar to pop it the rest of the way out. Since it was an eccentric and because of placement, that was easier for me than using wobble sockets and extensions on my air tools. I'm not sure what the pros do, but that worked pretty good for me, and I've removed mine at least 5 or 6 different times.

Ill give the rubber mallet a shot next time. Do you, or anyone, know if the spring bucket bushing? is threaded? Id assume its not since you hammered the bolt through.
Thanks for the tips.
Any other ideas are still welcome.
