Same price for the 14 inch Wilwood rings. I have 90k on my wilwood kit, on my second set of rotors and second set of street pads.. Been thru 6 or 7 sets of race pads.

Street pads are $65
Race pads are $135 to $190 depending on compound.

I can get Stocktech Street Performance Pads (Very good reviews on these per Google search) for $48 Fronts. These have been used for *light track use* with no problems. Stoptech has a VERY BROAD SELECTION of pads avialable, since they are based on the Porsche Pad design used on many of their cars. This is perhaps the greatest benefit of using Stoptech.

Len's been through a couple of rings and graduated up to the more aggressive pads as his tire choice matured over the past couple of years. I think he and others have found ample pad compounds to suite their needs. Maybe not as many choices as some, but a bit less confusion as well.

I don't believe he'll have much negative to say about his choice other than the lack of doing the optional W6A set up- which I don't believe was an option when he started the project. We'll do that someday I suspect!

Those W6A's are sweet. Can you run those calipers on the 14" rotors or is it a different size / type rotor?

Produced only for the 14" kit. Two reasons; first the market for them on the 13s is much smaller, second, the hats would be too larger and the pad/caliper would contact the hat. The 'footprint' of the pad/caliper is much larger requiring more space.

But yes they are becoming a very popular and proven item. On a variety of applications.

Just got kit today! They had kit drop shipped from factory to my office in So Cal. Quick! Turns out, this kit must have been sitting around for a LONG TIME..had older Axis Ultimate Pads in it! All other stuff is the same. I turned around and ordered the newer Stoptech Street Performance pads myself for $48...not even gonna bother trying to return em. I'll put those up for sale CHEAP soon.
