Default Z-1 motorsport or COZ for akebono BBK

Getting ready to order a Akebono BBk for my Z.
which kit would be a better choice, I plan on having these powder coated to match my car. the mounting brackets seem to be the only difference between the two kits is one design better than the other?

thanks for the advice

Coz is a family friend and his busine ethic is insane.
I cant attest to Z1, but i can certainly attest to fast shipping, very good communication and a good dude for Coz at CZP.
You wont have any snags w him, and the kit he sells is top of the line.
You doing the 370z BBK conversion kit? I just saw his kit being put on a G35 at Intense last month,., very cool kit.. makes me want one bad.

Ive always had good experiences with CZP, I ordered some pads and they sent me the wrong ones, was fixed within 2 days, great guy to deal with.

I've ordered more than once from both and they both came through with fast shipping, communication, and good service.

This!

I have ordered from Z1 plenty of times. Great service every time. I will definitely continue to order from them.
I have yet hear ANYTHING bad about CZP, nothing but great comments about them also.

My Akebono brakes are from Z1. No real reason why I chose them over CZP. I just like them.

But the Akebono's are fuhking bad *** brakes.
Night and day difference from the POS 03-05 OEM brake system!

I am going to pick up Akebono front caliper mount adapters from COZ in the morning. I have ordered from both many times both have been great. COZ is local.

And I love my Akebonos.

I'm putting an akebono kit together, I'll be ordering Z1 brackets, I've had nothing, but good experiences from them.

Never used CZP

His business ethic sucks. He sold Z32 parts as original, when they were China copies. He admitted it LATER and apologized. He said they were brand A, which really was producing the kits, but he had them copied and sold them as brand A. He is a POS with HORRIBLE work ethic.

Back to being a family friend..ie we go to the same weddings, eat at the same picnics..sorry about whatever you're mentioning.. but what exactly do you expect me to say to you calling him that?
Let's move on please..

Z1 has hooked me up, and Coz just expedited my shipping when part was on back order; while I was pissed I ordered a part that wasnt in stock, he did upgrade my shipping to get it to me asap. Id say 6 and half dozen, I have been eyeballing the brake upgrade....plz write review when theyre on!

The stopping power is noticeably different.
I can't say how the brakes are on the track, I have never been.
The visual appeal is a plus, especially with the drilled and slotted rotors. Definite head turner if the calipers are a catchy color.

Can't wait for summer to really test out these brakes!

What pads? I didn't notice much of a difference from my OEM to Akebono but noticed a HUGE difference from Akebono to Endless. I wasn't impressed with mine considering when I dropped the cash on them, I was one of the first to get the whole set up(Front and Rear) with powerslots from CZP. I'm sure they're been some advancements because OEM and Hawk(IIRC) were the only options when I bought mine in 2009.
