stock 350z has a spring bucket where the toe arm or rod would be. Eccentric bolts are used to adjust toe.

Aftermarket options exist to locate the rear spring onto the strut and replace the bucket with a toe arm.

So the toe arm is the rod????? I know the toe arm is what the spring bucket replaces. I`m confused sir

You're making it too complicated.

What are you wanting to do to your toe? Do you have true type coilovers? If not, get toe bolts.

Call it what you want, there is one location in the rear for a toe arm/rod (adjusting camber will affect toe and that is a separate rod)

Maybe youre thinking of a TIE rod. Theres toe arms/links and tie rods, two seperate parts.

SPL's tie rods

SPL's toe arm/ink

Here is his problem...

He ordered coilovers and is setting them up in a TRUE rear setup.

The vendor included what were supposed to be toe arms (spring bucket delete), but he received what he is pretty sure are traction rods.

He is trying to confirm which parts he has.

^^ pretty much sums it up...I`m just kinda baffled that a company would make a mistake like that. Let alone more then one time with the same thing.....Talked to top speed tpday... there tryign to `figure it out`.....

More than one time for the same thing? WTF... The traction arm has a hole twice the size of a toe arm (spring bucket replacement) where it attaches to the body. Aftermarket traction arms are pretty much useless based on what I read in the 101 suspension thread. At least, to my goals.
What's up with them trying to "figure it out". Seems like a problem that should've been resolved easily.

This is what happens when a company focuses on throwing replica parts at the market and doesn't have sufficient knowledge about what they're selling.

I'm not against replica parts at all, but if you're going to sell them at least have the proper knowledge and product support.

I just saw your post on the coilovers and arms... I was wondering how AllstarE4 knew they were traction arms. Definitely traction arms.
