Coz said his uses the DBAs with a bigger hat/smaller rotor so this is avoided.

Interesting. I will ask my shop about this possiblity. Are DBA rotors more expensive than centric? I go to RT Tuning and I know they are big on DBAs and stock them in house so if that would avoid me running into this annoying rust issue I would definitely consider upgrading.
