06 base 350z front brake noise
happen recently ....happen under five miles or whatever speed come to a stop. noise is very noticable. sound like something popping or loose . only happen when i step on a brake and come to a stop.Noise is coming from front passenger side area, why am i so sure ? it very clearly sound coming from the front passeneger side when it next to a wall or another object or cars . i thought it was my wheel bearing but jack the car up and play with the rims . no play.... so please help and shed some light ...thank you very much

update : i dont think is my front brake.....i check and the only thing that i found that wrong is my lower control arm ball joint is leaking..and that it... nothing is loose and it doesnt seem like it coming from a front area now...it somewhere..sound like a metal thudding againt something....
Old thread I know but OP, have you found out what the issue was and if so, how you solved it? I think my Z has the same issue. I can hear this sort of thudding noise around the front passenger area as well when coming to a slow stop only. Symptom is not present when braking at highway speeds or coming to sudden braking.

So for those of you who care, turns out it was the SPL camber arm on the passenger side. I'm not sure how I would go about fixing it yet but at least now I know what it is and that it's not immediate.
