Mike, im sorry i wasnt more clear. The picture of of the 350Z rotor that we used hat the prototype hat on it which was NOT anodized. The final product will be anodized. We usually do the 14" rotor hats a dark tan color like the S2000 picture and he 13" rotor hats in black. If you prefer a specific color, it can be done

More great questions

The myth thats been circulating regarding Wilwood caliper s and dust seals is exactly that, a myth. Even without the dust seals they do not need yearly rebuilds or anything of the sort. I have been running Wilwood calipers on 4 of my own vehicles and none have required rebuilds. 2 of them get tracked regularly again without any issues. There is one simple maintnance procedure to do between pad changes and thats all to ensure long inner piston seal life. All you need to do is to clean the exposed area on the piston before pushing them back into the caliper with some scotch gaurd and you are set to go. Thats all.

Now, for those who are still in fear of calipers without dust seals, Wilwood has now developed a few new calipers that do have dust seals. They have a 4 piston caliper with the same shape and outer body as the 6 piston pictured above that does have the dust seals. This is merely a political move. Only to silence the critics. They did this to show that they can make calipers with dust seals, not because they needed to.

This is going to be another distinction between our Wilwood kit and other Wilwood kits. As with the others, our kit WILL retain the OEM emergency brake assembly. This keeps everything as an easy plug and play installation. No need for any type of retrofitting.

What is going to be different is the rear caliper. Every Wilwood kit I have seen up till now for the rear of the Nissans utilizes Wilwood old Billet Dynalite caliper. The caliper works fine but is not aesthetically pleasing. Its too small and shaped wierd and does not match the front caliper. Our kit is going to use the newest calipers that Wilwood makes which uses the exact same body as the large 6 piston caliper pictured. They are externally identical. Internally, they use smaller and correct piston diameters to retain the correct pedal height, feel and bias as the factory set up. The other advantage of using this larger caliper is that it also uses a larger brake pad. This is critical for the Nissans because of their factory bias. The rear of these cars actually does a lot of the work and is easily overheated at the track. The larger surface area of the pad will help alleviate much of this.

Because it's not done by Wilwood. It's special powder coated by another place.

Come on Raymond, these 6 pistons calipers would look so mean with the 14 inch rotors behind your New Wheels That would be the baddest combination.
