So I'm 0/2 for ES poly bushings + collateral damage... not a happy camper.
I assume you are lowered? how much?

Yes, much better design consideration! They understand the fact that the compression arm has to articulate...duh Energy suspension!!

i can see where the whiteline design is better but i thought id chime in. my energy compression bushings have 11k on them and theyre still great. been lowered roughly 1.25" the whole time.

Thanks man. I have some stock bushings laying here but don't feel like having to remove the rod and press them in. Going to give the whitelines a shot -- just ordered a set.

Actually, being lowered will make them last LONGER. Notice how squished mine look, that is when the suspension is fully articulated. The lower the suspension sits and the less it articulates, the less likely they will be damaged. I think my near stock height and front end lifting at the 1/4 track is what did them in quickly.

I thought it was the exact opposite. The lower the car the more stress you put on the compression rod bushing.

You're correct with regard to the stock bushings. But for the poorly designed ES bushings it actually works in your favor.

this bushing is kicking my ***. since it does not articulate like the spl, its impossible to line it up with out taking apart most of the suspension. you have to jack up the spindle to try and line up the ball joint. i think i got a game plan for it and will probably post a diy on it sine it different then the spl.

You'll have the same 'issue' with OEM or any other kind of rubber bushing -- yell at nissan about it LOL. SPL is a special case.

Pretty sure my diff isn't going to give me any more issues. Also got the whiteline compression bushings in the front.

So were does the articulation of the compression rod go? does the whole bushing flex around the center bearing or is it still just the "ears" of the bushing flexing with the arm movement.
