Default Custom Coilover Setup?

Anyone have a custom coilover setup? Not the typical off the shelf type.

I've seen a few custom/track setups over the years with universal springs (ie Swift, Tanabe etc) on custom perches and adjustable Koni or Tokico shocks. Anyone on here have such a setup?

*Disclaimer: did not search on here as our search function kind of sucks, did try google and found some sparse info. I know some of you guys have Truechoice. Basically I'm just looking for a coilover sleeve setup without shocks. Skunk2 did have something in the market and Ground Controls never made it to production.

I'm not sure what you are asking, but I've had truchoice DA's in the past.

Are there any coilover sleeve/springs that will fit Tokico adjustable shocks?

Do the tokico's use a snap ring like koni? What is the diameter of the shock body?

The fronts have a spring cup welded on but that can be cut off and ground down like Konis I believe. Shock body should have a 2" diameter but I will measure again to be certain.

If it is a 50mm body, and you can get the koni style sleeve to sit on the perch....you can use the ones from truechoice/koni most likely.

Thanks for the help 03, I'm piecing it together and ordering. What spring rate for the front and rears on the Dspec shocks? I rarely track, last time was 3 years ago, just need it for daily use and still be able to adjust height and comfort.

I don't know anything about D-specs...

The sleeves will only work on the front with an OTS shock. You'll have to piece together rear spring perches for the stock toe buckets. You can piece them together from stance, megan, etc. Truechoice also makes them, but they are $400-$450 for just the perches.

you should look into cks coilovers. You can build to your own spec and they also have couple set up available for the Z. Let me know if you have any more questions
