sounds like babys first set of coilovers.

You didnt adjust the preload right and the damper took all the weight from the car. You overloaded it even though its a KW damper you either was riding close on the bumpstop or had the car sitting at the dampers lowest point of travel. All that constant weight at the lowest point of travel can cause the dampers to leak.

Get your KWs rebuilt, than after you get them rebuilt, search on how to measure damper travel and how to preload the springs according to the damper travel, and you wont have to do this again. You have some of the best coilovers made for this car.

thats what the threaded perches are for on the coilover, you adjust preload to the springs to adjust height, the damper doesnt affect ride height at all, every coilover has this ability, thats why your able to corner balance cars with threaded perches.

OP, take a picture of the rear suspension for us. I think you didn't do it right or you need to rebuild them.

Also, I would read this https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...ion-101-a.html

specifically post #17 and #18

i'm pretty sure it's installed correctly i'm not a noob at installing suspensions....and never had any problems with other cars like this

post 17 sounds strange???

OEM Style rear:
Adjust at the spring bucket location and at shock location like true coilovers style.

there's no way you could adjust at the shock location???

since there's too much confusion going on here (IMO) i'll just post the manual which KW gives away with the suspension kit....
