Godspeed Front Camber Arms :(
Ok guys I just tried installing the Godspeed ( Red ) Ebay Front Camber Arms Im sure they are marketed under a few names but they are the red ones with the sliding ball joint.
Problems with the design and fitment on a 2006 350z:
1. The Wishbone End Arms are not wide enough to slide into the mounting joints. I had to spread the arms with a vise to get the correct width . Unnecessary 2 hours of fab work.
2. The Sliding joint square plate on top will hit the inner metal fender piece up top so you gotta get your Dremel out and a cutting disc and start cutting the corners of the square piece to make it not hit when it compresses into the fender well.
3. The dust cap is just that a marshmellow dust cap that just sinks into the Aluinum arm because it does not have the hard plastic cone that the stock Arm has to it just falls into it with no support. I tried removing my plastic cone from teh ball joint of mine but the threaded piece just kept spinning even when i tried several things to remove it.
4. I noticed the car is lifted back to stock levels because the aluminum arm sits on the ball joint and does not sit rigid as it did before with the plastic cone piece of the stock arm.
I realize also that this thread is useless without pics but trust me ...Stay Far Away from those Camber Arms!!

The cone as not plastic and is needed. Plenty of other arms on the market require you to remove the stock cone. Propane torch works great for this. Next many of the other arms also require you to grind the bumps off the back of the spindle for clearance , I would do that with the Godspeed arms. With those two things fixed , they may work ok.

Cone and tabs
Yeah i had to dremel off the metal tabs so that they would not hit the fender as well as i could not remove the plastic cone on the tierod boot of the original arm.
Ill try the propane trick.. I take it all i need to do is heat up the bolt itself? and then pull the cone off somehow?
