Default Spring Rates?

Hey guys,

As I await the arrival of my new wheels (1 1/2 months out) I am looking at buying a set of coilovers. For a car that will be sitting about 1 1/2 to 2 inches off of the ground, what kind of spring rate would be ideal for the coils? I've heard something standard like 10k/8k is good, but I feel that might allow too much roll in the rear - especially with the aggressive wheels I will be running.

Any input is much appreciated!

Spring rate doesn't matter if your tires will rub or not, a properly bump travel does. 8k in factory location will work fine.

I wouldn't get coilovers will more than 12k spring rate on a 350z. You should look into KW coilovers, they make some great coilovers for daily driven and track set up as well.

1.5-2" off the ground! That's pretty low.

I'd try standard rates first to see if they will suit your needs. If you go too high on the rate you'll have quite an uncomfortable ride.
