Default Question for those of you with aftermarket strut bars.

So for everyone with aftermarket strut bars that don't reuse the factory studs....

What did you do with the studs in the engine compartment? Leave them? Grind them off?

The Crawford brackets leave a couple of the unused studs in plain view.

Depending on what strut bars you are talking about, some use all the OEM
stud locations. My Carbing bar does. You could cap the stud with a dome nut
or a snap on dress up piece.Actually, thats what I did to cover the stud ends
on my Z.

That's a pretty good idea. I thought about grinding them off, but id hate to permanently remove them.

I wouldn't grind them off, just find some way to cover them up or make your engine bay more aesthetically pleasing.

Go look at Pro-bolts, Dressup bolts or Baller Bolts if you're worried about looks.

Well, I looked on those sites but I didn't find anything in their inventory that will cover the studs up. I'll just have to call one of those places and see if they can hook me up with something.

Pro Bolts will sell you a measurement tool that you can use to to find the right hardware. After that you just have to look around at what they have to find what you think looks best.
