My last z was an 03. Ever drive one? If you did you know why they changed the suspension in 04. Ask my wife she used to have hold her **** driving down the highway.
RPF1s and a nice set of tires don't cost $10,000.

Lol everyone gets so butt hurt. People race on them because their a good affordable rim. Just because a lot of people buy something doesn't mean its the highest quality.

That's why F1 teams run them. Affordable.

It is ridiculously naive to think that the F1 "rpf1" is similar in any way, other than rough design, to what us plebs can buy.

Wow. I thought this thread was about suspension. Guess I was wrong lol. Anyway I ran raceland coils on my rsx-s for a year and a half and the only complaint I had was bouncy ride but even that was only on some of the rougher roads. They were fun for a little bit of spirited driving but dont expect your car to corner like its on rails...it's still only a $500 setup! If you're looking to do anything more than just lower your car and have adjustability while maintaining a streetable amount of comfort then racelands probly aren't for you

Exactly. Enough said. There's no need for people to come in and start hating on a product because its designed for a person on a budget . I'm def in for the 350z results being that its a true coil over setup. I'm buying some in about a month.

I would bet my car has more lateral grip than any on this site, and it still uses an OEM layout. That is all...

I wouldn't doubt it. The 03 sat lower and had different spring rates than the rest. They were bouncy tho. I miss my 03. I hat the suspension on my late 04..

It was designed for dumb people who don't have a clue. We are not "hating on a budget product" we are saying this product is complete and total crap.

Again, it depends on why you decided to buy coilovers i.e. auto x, looks, drag, drift, etc. The actual build quality of the parts were just fine. Now if anybody is buying racelands because they think its gonna drop their lap times then sure they're on the dumber side of the car world. However, I think you'd have to be an even dumber person to spend $1000+ on coilovers just to lower and raise your car that never sees track use. High end coilovers are great when they're being used for their actual purpose but not everybody buys them for that reason. So why not buy a cheaper product that has the same amount of quality when all you do is drive your car to work everyday?

Actually quality coilovers for slightly more than a grand are really just for daily drivers, they are not high end at all, just high quality. High end starts at around the $3k range, and as you mention, there is no need for them unless you seriously track your car.

To just lower a car their fine. My z sees 500-800 miles a year I take it on vaca to the beach and shows. They'll suit me needs just fine.

3,000 is bare bones for motorsports grade shocks...and likely won't include top mounts or springs and be only single adjustable.
