I wouldn't doubt it. The 03 sat lower and had different spring rates than the rest. They were bouncy tho. I miss my 03. I hat the suspension on my late 04..
I thought I was the only person who thought that, my 03 on stock suspension would scrape tf out of everywhere!!
Curious to see thoughts on these ... my daily driver is a jetta & these are big on the vw vortex forums. Surprisingly they are held to somewhat of a high regard as a truely quality, value coilover that goes low.
that being said we're talking about german econoboxes vs. mid horsepower rear wheel drive coupes.
They are garbage no matter how you look at it. They will lower your car , they may make noise, they may break, they will provide crappy dampening , and they will probably wear out really freaking quick.
It was designed for dumb people who don't have a clue. We are not "hating on a budget product" we are saying this product is complete and total crap.

To be honest the only thing I've ever seen you and 03threefiftyz contribute to any budget coil discussion was this exact statement over and over and over and over again. Opinions are like a**h***'s everyone has one you just regurgitate the same cr** over and over again on every thread. We all know on here you both hate on every budget setup so just shut it seriously. Oh btw guess what my ISC's are still working, I still don’t have any noise and I still didn’t spend $2k on them. They have been modified now to a Universal air "bag over coil" setup up front and Independent airlift bags in the rear with the ISC dampers... but if you were right about them being complete and udder crap they should definitely be blown by now? Oh well thats the funny thing about opinions they arent always right.

Take them off and put them on a shock dyno, post results.

Out of curiosity did you actually run a dyno test on your actual setup or is it just the manufacturers dyno results? ISC has done the dyno test on their product through a third party heres the link. http://iscsuspensionblog.com/general...north-america/

Moton does all there stuff in house, they will be valved , and dyno'd when you order them as with most high end race dampers.
REVIEW OF COILOVERS.
So far I've had no problems. The feel is just like my 95 240sx on Silkroad coilovers set to 3(of 15) from the softest setting. For the price I'm not complaining.. If I could afford to have the baller coilovers I would, but I can't. Plus these are more for street so no need to waste money on Coilovers until I do plan on racing. Only thing I've noticed is you only have about 2.5" of drop in the rear so none of that slammed look people are going for. I'm down about 2" from factory height.
I wrapped the car in Matte Teal(+20hrs!!), not plastic dip.
This is my set up as in the pic. Still need to make changes, so not finalized.
Raceland Coilovers, dropped all around 2"
XXR 530, offset +20, F 18x8.75(225/45r18), R 18x9.75(245/40r18)
Also, does it feel rough or hurt when you go over uneven or bumpy roads? When I see a small dip or bump on the highway i brace myself due to the impact......
