Default i may have screwed myself over, need advice

I wanted to get your guys opinions on my current situation:

I followed this tutorial:
https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...onversion.html

And now I'm am in a situation. *Note that i am not blaming Xzero at all, this is totally all on me* Basically the first thing that i did was purchase all four calipers from online sources. After i bought those and was billed i figured i was home free and purchased the rest of the items, or everything except the brake fluid and cream.

Then i get a call a couple days later saying that they do not have the front right and rear right calipers, and that they are are next to impossible to find and that i will be given a refund. I then spent several days inquiring multiple different sources only to hear the same bad news over and over.

The specific parts i need are (141.42115 or 142.42115) and (141.42559 and 142.42559). They are both on the right side. Should i just go ahead and start returning what i can?

I also found out that another company possibly makes similar refurbished calipers called cardone. I think the parts i need are 19-3859 and 19-6265 but its hard to say because they do not provide any pictures and they also do not have a contact number to call. I have alot of money tied up in this and if i dont make a decision soon i will not be able to return anything and im not sure what to do.

I don't know how much you have tied up with the parts you bought already, but if it was anywhere past 1k I would of just picked up a complete used set and rebuilt and powdercoated them, it would be good as new. check craigslist, ebay, g35driver, as well as this forum if you want to pick up a used set for around 1k or you can pick up 370z akebono big brake kit for 1600 new

it should really be illegal to take money before it has been confirmed that it will be shipped by the company. I call it fraud. get the money back and buy something REAL.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and was able to return the two calipers that i did get. Now I'm just going to try and focus on getting some used calipers.

i purchased a complete set of Brembo calipers used on CL for $400. SS lines were $100, pads $100, and rotors $300. Rebuild kit was $85 and took me all of an hour total. stripped and refinished red with white letters. for a little over $1K i now have myself a basically brand new Brembo BBK. just shows you what you can do with a little money and some piecing together parts!
