Clearly out of your wheelhouse. But still has quite of bit of know-how in custom setups as this car is static and he's got at least 2 350Z's on it. There may be more in the crew with it as well.

This is a performance thread, not a "HELLA DROP YO!" thread, OP is looking for **** that actually works on the track.

I'm pretty sure you aren't the strongest reader and the reading you do is apparently not for comprehension. However, thank you for your input and I, as much as everyone, appreciate your useful post to the utmost.

Your welcome, just trying to prevent this thread from being mucked up by **** contest holders. Your sarcasm is funny, but if your able to read why did you post that useless info?

"His purpose could be further from yours." If thats the case, were you just posting to build post count?

You're. You need a you're in there somewhere. I'll let you decide where it goes. As far as post count, unless I get a special prize like free cookies or Royal Purple, what would be the purpose of increased post count. For usage, I've already got enough post to do everything I do on this forum.

As much as I hate to do this, allow me to explain the purpose of my post:

The OP asked for information on the AST coilovers; not just the coilover system, but custom setups. I read through the information posted and saw that quite a bit of GOOD information was given on setups to better his track going ability but MOST of it was general. There also wasn't much info given on what route to take when doing a custom setup using this system. So, the purpose of my post was simply to offer a name to somebody who has used AST on AT LEAST two vehicles. I put a disclaimer in there because I didn't want to OP to have any false impression of what this guy does to his car. However, given that he is well versed with this particular brand, he could probably offer some insight into where to purchase, steps to take should something happen, ride impressions, etc...that the OP couldn't get from just the general knowledge.

Furthermore, the fact that you don't drive your car 1inch off the ground doesn't mean that you don't know what it would take to do so. You're clearly knowledgeable of suspension. To that point, just because somebody DOES drive their car 1inch off the ground doesn't mean they are oblivious to other options.

Na 03threefiftyZ, Aragostas are AST coilovers that are rebranded. AST also offers rebuilding and revalving services to the Aragostas.

Its all good driftsucky

Yeah, Aragosta is the Japanese brand for AST. There are apparently some subtle differences between the Aragostas and ASTs, but nothing that would really make me choose one over the other.
