Default Need some help from the experts! Bushings...

Helloo,

I have started to build a more performance oriented z; recently installed tokico d specs with swift springs, hotchkis sways f/r, no more stretched tires, and now I am thinking of switching out the bushings. For some reason, the car is a bit bouncy with the swift springs, i thought it was supposed to be butter smooth, but its not, thought maybe I should change out the bushings if they are worn. Anyways, which whiteline bushing kits do you guys think are worth buying? Its so hard to choose among so many.....

I just dd my car and do some canyon runs, but haven't tracked it yet. Thanks guys, appreciate the help. Happy donut day

Bouncy with Swifts??
Those are fairly mild.
What are your D Spec settings?

This ^

You might just need to adjust your suspension, also what are the spring rates you have with your Swifts? they may not be matched up to the Tockicos and you might be overpowering the damper with your springs?

but thats not really my concern. My question was what other suspension mods could I do to improve the cars handling? Is anything else really worth the money or necessary if I mainly dd my car and just want some fun driving/handling? I know endlinks/bushings/braces aren't THAT expensive, but wondering if that is even worth it for my type of driving. Will I notice a big difference? I love the sways and the improvement I got from them, so I didnt mind dropping 300 on them, what about other parts? Thanks

Really great info in here^^ Bushings start on post #23

To do majority of the bushings it will cost close to maybe more than $800 and I feel like it is worth every penny. Having your car aligned and having it hold alignment better than what stock could do is a huge improvement for obvious reasons. If the car is bouncy I don't think bushings will be the answer tho.

Do you plan on tracking the car? because that will depend on if you should do all the bushings.

If your just looking for more response out of your dd, just get compression arm bushings, translink bushings, and rear diff bushings.
