Default Bc racing coilover adjustment issue

So after putting on some new wheels, I wanted to raise the rear. I got the bc racing oem style coilovers btw. And when I raise both side on the springs, I notice that the passenger side wasn't moving at all! So I even tried raising the passenger side all the way up and still no difference...
Please someone help me out!

Are you saying the collars won't move or you move the collars but the car doesn't get any higher..? be a little more specific.. and it wouldn't hurt to post a pic if its not too much trouble.

So, are your collars stuck? Pull the perches out so you can put more torque on them. WD40 doesn't hurt either.

The perches aren't stuck. I move the collars and there's no height change. My bad for not being specific

after you adjust, you did drive forward a little bit and then back some to let the suspension compress right?

Which way are you moving the collars, tightening adds preload compressing the spring and untightening unwounds the spring giving you height.

You are adjusting these collars on the spring like in this pic? If you are moving the collars all the way towards the ground vs towards the top of the car, you will see a definite change in ride height...

Towards the ground. My driver side is already moving up. But for some reason the passenger just won't raise in height even after adjusting it

The perches has already been adjust to make the car sit really high. Yet the passenger side is not moving what's so ever in the height. Could it be a unbalanced through my cars height?

man i wish i could actually look at your car i could adjust it for you but the only thing i can see is it is off balance. is there any where around you that gives corner balance alignments? if not are you using a tape measure when you adjust height?

Well I know for a fact that my passenger front is a little higher than my driver side front. Should that affect the rear ?

I have the same coils, are you just raising the Spring or the shock too? do both at the same time, you will find the shock will raise the car up and when you raise the spring add pressure to the spring by using a car jack to raise the spring up then you can adjust the spring.

^With oem style coils make sure you are following the procedures to set the preload once you are done as well..

Yeah I did. I heard from a friend that one told him this happen to them and they ended up taking off both coils and setting it to spec and reinstalled and it was fine.

You shouldn't have to change preload at all. You only need to adjust the springs to set height.

When you adjust springs on coilovers, you are adding preload to the spring by compressing it.
