Default coilovers?

Thinking about lowering my car, I don't want to go with springs. I'd like to go with coilovers!
I was wondering what y'all think are the best coilovers !!?

Are you using them for form or function?

When you say "track", do you mean road course or drag strip?

Lol, their is always one peddling that stuff.

OP, I would look into KW V2. They're height adjustable and rebound adjustable. It's relatively simple and will fit your needs well. However, if you feel you want something a little more "track orientated" check out the V3's. Same as the V2's but with added adjustable compression and external reservoirs.

What's your budget OP, how do you intend to use them?

Asking "what's the best" doesn't make any sense because my best is different than what you need

I'm thinking the OP is looking for the " best" cheaper coil overs. I'm guessing there aren't many people looking to lower their Z for looks spending 2k on coil overs.

I'm one of them. No regrets! One of the best/expensive mods on my car.

$2k is a great starting point for a cheap coilover.

Ohlins TTX DA's....probably a little over with top mounts and a few sets of springs. Penske 8300's would be a little cheaper.

The Ohlins and Penske give you more revalve options than moton, jrz, mcs, etc...

Maybe for you.... I have a neighbor with a ,I believe an 06 maxima and he has some Function and Form Coilovers he bought for around 800.00. I've lived next door to him for about 5 years and I'm thinking he must have had them on there for at least 3 years. Are they the best, not by a long shot but he likes them and the stance is pretty nice. I can't speak for ride quality because I've never driven with him. His goal is completely looks and I think for 800.00 it was a deal.
