Alright so i got some oem brembos last night. In the process of swapping them onto my 08 base model.
I'm just using my stock brake lines i had on there for the time being.
I noticed that the banjo bolt that was in the non brembo front calipers are too long and do not thread all the way into brembo calipers. I checked several places today (autozone, o'reillys, advanced auto, northern tool, etc) for shorter banjo bolts and couldn't find anything.
Is this something the dealership will have?
I also have to get 2 rear caliper bolts because they disappeared.. Assuming dealership will have those as well.

this is far as the bolt will go

since it don't work anyways u can always cut it with a rethread kit already on backwords so when u take it off it fixes the threads...just an idea since as u say, that one doesn't work anyways

Yeah it will just run a higher chance of leaking if i do that. though about just stacking regular washers or cutting the bolt but i'd rather just get the correct length bolt if i can
As someone that did his brembo swap a couple years ago, I can tell you from experience that ur better of just getting the stoptech ss line kit like I did. I'd tried doing the same thing u are planning on doing (stacking washers) and it was a complete failure.
I'd rather spend an extra $200 for ss lines than damaging my calipers and wheels due to a brake fluid leaks

Don't try cutting the bolt down. You should simply get the correct banjo bolts. They may be available separately from StopTech if you contact them.
when I did my akebono swap I bought some StopTech line from a member but lines were for another brakes I just bought them cause it was a steal.! alright when I tried them it had almost the same issue as you but I only had to add a washer and everything worked perfect not leaks until now. I'm guessing you can trim the bolt down as long as the bolt goes in smooth. so in small words the the cut would have to be even, almost perfect. i say just trim it and try to find a thicker washer because adding too many washers is not a good idea.
good luck, I was trying to get the banjo bolt for the akebonos and they didn't helped me the guy at the customer service wanted me to buy the whole kit.
Stoptech makes shorter bolts for their bbk's. They sell them separately for $5 or so for the pair. I ordered mine through zeckhausen. Or you can shorten the factory bolt with a drill. Just get one slightly bigger than the bolt and drill down. It wont mess up the threads.

I checked several places today. None had them. I'll check Napa tomorrow though. Thanks
i'm in the midst of doing something similar. I've been researching non-stop for the past month on parts needed, and reviews on SS lines, brake pads, rotors, etc.
Off the top of my head, someone on this forum once mentioned that the correct banjo length "should be" 18.75mm. Measure your banjo bolt and see if the length is correct, if not, you'll need to order new bolts. I know CZP sells separate Technafit banjo bolts:
