Default circuit sport toe arms...FOR FREE???? Kinda sorta

Backstory: I got a buddy grabbing an extra set of stock wheels from me (I have 1 set left). I haven't used nor do I plan on ever using those wheels again and I have another set. So basically, they're taking up space in my garage. So, he's giving me cash plus Circuit Sport toe arms. They're fairly new as we just put them in late July/early August time frame.

I'm starting to "de-stance" my car and get it more drift setup. It slides now, but anyone who's seen it knows that the car is so low and the suspension is warped from that. So, while I still want to be low, I also want a more predictable car. So, we end up here. Now, I wouldn't have purchased these, but it isn't costing me anything to have them. What is everyone's thoughts on Circuit Sports parts? I've seen some reviews, but everything is from YEARS ago...on the forums at least. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Read motoIQ chassis/suspension setup and theory. If your were "stanced" you likely will have substandard coils. I strongly suggest shocks/spring or a set of reputable (proven) coils. Then, read motoIQ again. Its certainly not the most in depth or greatest write ups, but if you are new to learning that stuff (as was I), it is very easy to understand and not overwhelming.

http://farnorthracing.com/autocross_secrets.html much better than the Moto Iq article. Most applies to road course

Great articles. I've read the motoIQ before, but thanks Terra for the new insight. I'm not really looking for the end all be all on suspension info though. I mean, I will still be using coilovers. At this point, it's not a competition car. It's still more of a cruiser that I can take to the track for weekend hooning.

I'm more concerned with Circuit Motorsports as a brand than anything. Are they good enough to use for free and put my money towards something a bit more...critical...so to speak. As stated, getting the car sideways has never been an issue. Our chassis slide fine in stock form. And even at my daily scrape levels, it slides easily. I have a game plan on suspension already. I'm just not sure of this particular brand, specifically to OUR chassis. I've seen reviews on them and they seem fine, but just wondering what the thinking was here.

My only concern with circuit sports is the quality of the heim joint. I don't know what they use. I would try running them on my car no problem.

I mean, it certainly won't last as long as say the joints SPL or battle version use. But I don't believe you'll experience catastrophic results with them. Search around zilvia, lots of 240 guys run circut sports and I'm pretty sure a lot of reviews and insight is avaliable there.

Ok. Thanks guys. I did some checking at Zilvia. They seem to be a solid budget brand. And since I'm not paying for them, I think they'll hold up well enough for my usage.
