well hmm.. I have decided i might spend the money on tein basic coilovers. Would getting the tein basics give me better performance and improve ride quality better than the RS*R springs? or are the tein basics not worth it?

Thanks

Based on what you want I can't tell you to get the basic's. The worst that could happen would see you adding Koni's to the RSR springs, still not a big difference in price compaired to the Basics. This is not to mention the problem I have with the Basic's shifting a full 25% spring stiffness to the front (something that picking softer front springs would fix however for a additional $165).

If you do not need the ability to adjust ride height then RSR springs all the way. I really want the springs because they are cheap, but I know that I will need height adjustment capabilities for winter so I will be going with HKS Hypermax IIs in the near future unless something better for 90% street/10% track purposes comes out before I buy.
