I doubt it is lighter than stock, but I have heard it is stiffer, and looks killer. I have one for sale right now... looking to get around $200+ shipping.
Got one on my car as well. Weight is about the same. If you want one we sell them, http://www.performancenissanparts.co...roducts_id=309 but for $200.00 plus shipping from wren57... you should jump on it! Click on my link above and click on the picture to enlarge the picture on our website. That's my car with one installed.

yeah it would be awesome if it worked with the crawford plenum, thanks for the info guys, this will probably be my first mod when i get the Z, my baby is sposed to arrive next week!
honestly, it looks like crud IMHO...its simply the alumimum bar with carbon over it, and there were tons of bubbles in the one bar we ever got from JIC..so I chose not to offer it for sale.
It's definitely not stiffer than the stock one either thats for sure....you can look at the 2 designs and tell what the superior front brace is

Uummm...who cares...it's negligible...if it is lighter...it's by grams...maybe a pound or two...you're better off laying off the twinkies for a week or wearing lighter shoes than worrying whether the carbon bar is lighter than stock...
