clunking sound after installing springs/shocks
So I just installed Koni yellow shocks and tein s-tech springs.
I only installed the REAR so far. I plan to get the fronts installed at a shop since i know they are a pain in the *** to do.
After finishing the rear I put the car back down and took a quick test drive to make sure I wouldn't hear any weird sounds. The second i take it down the driveway I'm hearing clunking sounds from the rear. Louder over bumps.
I do realize I stil have the front half of my suspension on OEM springs/shocks but could that possibly cause a clunking sound in the rear?
I rechecked all bolts/nuts and everything is tight. The spring is the right side up i believe. I have it where the word TEIN on the spring is readable and not backwards.
I also read that sometimes after an alignment clunking sounds will go away. The clunking sound from my car seems WAY too sever for it to be an alignment issue.
Anyways I'm losing my mind here so any help would be greatly appreciated!

are you completely sure that you tightened the nuts at the top of the shock.... sounds like something is loose. my suspension has never made a clunk noise and i have changed it out twice
Fixed it!
I forgot to put on the provided nut for the bottom of the shocks. The shock was just moving around on the bolt.
Added the nut for each shock and they are nice and tight now. No movement or noise!
