Closest powdercoat color to match Brembo Gold?
Anyone know of a standard powdercoat color that's a close match to the OEM Brembo gold?
I've searched every thread here tagged with "Brembo" and "powdercoat", but everyone else is using non-original colors. Call me crazy, but I want to restore my OEM Brembo's to better-than-new look, and a close match to the original gold is the only color I'm interested in.
The calipers are with the powdercoat shop now, and the owner is willing to order whatever I need, so please let me know if you can help me with a source. The calipers will first be base-coated with the gold color, then the red hi-temp vinyl emblems will be applied, and a final clear powder coat will protect them and make for a high gloss finish.
I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for this option, so I'll be sure to post pics of the finished calipers to be used as a reference for others.
Thanks in advance.

I think the first one looks better, as the second one looks too green/yellow to my eyes, on my color-calibrated monitor.
If anyone has other recommendations, I'm still open to suggestions, as I'd rather get it right the first time.

honestly op I would jus pick an entirely different color or another gold if u really like gold. I wouldn't waste my time matching it. repaint them all!. am I the only one not really a fan of the gold?

I like the original gold, and it will look especially nice with the high-gloss clear coat. Everyone does red, yellow, purple, but I want an upgraded OEM look. When it comes to mods sometimes less is more, and I can't wait to see the calipers behind my LMGT4 wheels.

There are no automotive/powder cross reference materials for color matching. You would need to bring in a paint sample for them to attempt a match. Some powdercoaters will totally disassembled your calipers, Brembo will tell you to never do this because when you reassemble them you may have leakage. If you do disassemble your calipers, the O-ring is unique. I have extras if you want them.
and Yes, inca IS as direct of a match as you will find.

Finally had the chance to pick up the Brembo's from the Powdercoat shop. Almost too shiny to photograph, so I had to use a polarizer on the lens:
The Brembo logo is embedded below the clear top coat, so it's protected, and IMO they look perfect. All the threads were properly masked, so install should be quick and easy. Cost was $330 out-the-door. Just waiting for the rebuild kits.

Thanks. I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. Color choice was pretty tough, as it seems every set I looked at was a different color. Mine (bought used) were really dark, almost brown, which I think happens through aging and multiple heat cycles. I picked the second sample color I posted at the start of this thread because a friend has an '08 350ZR with only 7K miles on it, and that's the color his car's calipers are closest to.

Might as well give a heads up to the shop I used, for those guys local to the Tampa area. I went to several shops and inspected their work, but this place really stood out from the others:

Sorry for reviving an old post. They came out looking great! I think I'm planning on going with "Goldtastic with Clear Vision Top Coat" from https://www.prismaticpowders.com/powder-coating-colors/
Regarding the Brembo stickers. I'm assuming you used high heat vinyl for it to be placed beneath the clear coat and into the oven? Also, where did you find the Brembo stickers? I can't seem to find the small ones that go on the rear Brembo calipers.
Thank you!
