Default Someone help with camber please!

Hey so I just got new wheels and tires
19x11" +15 rears with a 305 and 19x9.5" fronts with a 255.. Pretty meaty
(will be posting pics soon!)

I have about 3/4 inch of poke in the rear and I'm still stock height
What I want to know is how much camber I need to not poke once I get camber arms? I'm hoping under 3 degrees
I'm really hoping someone can figure this out for me

It's hard to tell without seeing pictures of your setup but with that much poke you will have quite a bit of camber to fit them under your fenders unless you pull the hell out of them.

Damn I wish I still worked at my job where I had autocad. Anyway, I did the math for you, but had to make a couple of assumptions:

-You're running a 305/30/19 rear tire
-You're currently at the factory camber spec of -1.8 degrees
-The 3/4" measurement you came up with is accurate

You will need about -5.1 degrees of camber to close that 3/4" gap (in other words, an additional 3.3 degrees of negative camber).

Good luck

Edit: -5.086 degrees if you want to be really accurate.

Was the suspension compressed to normal ride height ?

That right there is gonna need some stretched tires and camber to fit. It could look really good but based on the OP he's not going to like what it takes to get it fitting correctly.

I don't understand why you put a stretched on the front and not the back..though any tire stretched is dumb. I run a 275 on a 8" rim

255 on a 9.5 isnt stretched

In comparison to his 305 on the 11" it is. A 265 would of matched the tire to rim width from front to back perfectly.

Comparatively, yeah, the 255 on the 9.5 has less excess tire than the 305 on an 11. I was just speaking in general terms that a 255 on a 9.5 isn't considered stretched. I dont know exactly what the technical definition of "stretched" is (or if one even exists), but personally I start considering a tire stretched when the width of the tire is less than the width of the wheel.

^ that's how I look at it. I run a 235 on a 9.5 width rim and they are barely barely stretched.

Any sidewall /\ at all is stretched imo. I am a fan of phat tires, so I am bias

Thank you Phenom for answering the question haha
5 degrees of camber is way too much so I think I'm going to see if I can mill the backs at all.. Anyone know how much I can safely mill them?
I know not everyone is going to like the color of the wheels but that's alright with me..
I like them a lot.
Also wish that I had gotten a less aggressive offset
but too late for that.
I wanted 265 front but these tires don't come in 265 unfortunately
