I'm installing stainless brake lines, should I use the same fluid or is there something better to use.

 

if you do a lot of high speed driving, switch to something that handles the higher temps like motul. Else the normal stuff is fine.

 

I would use Motul 600

 

Motul 600 if you plan to do DEs and track events. Valvoline SynPower if you don't.

A word of warning -
The owner's manual specifically warns against using "synthetic" brake fluid. They say it can damage components in the brake system. How or why I don't know...

So what's the lowdown on synthetic brake fluids? Will it really damage the brake components if we use them in our Z? Like mwaller said, the manual actually specifically warns against using synthetic brake oil. But products like SynPower says they are completely compatible with DOT-3 and 4, and safe to use. Does anyone know the facts?
