I hated the look of my horrible '03 single piston calipers and tiny rotors, specially with my brothers S2000's OE brakes looking much bigger. The car shouldve came with these from day 1.
As for actual braking performance, im sure its increased but I dont track the car but I wouldnt know. One thing I did notice right away was that they "bite" faster than before.
Are the front rotor sizes the same for the 03-05 (OEM) vs the HR (OEM)? Also, what is the difference for the rear calipers for those years? Are they bigger on the HR?
That rear rotor looks way too big for that caliper.
Is it all just bolt on stuff? I've always thought the 03-05 brakes looked awful tiny. Especially with my new wheels. But I just put all new brakes (rotors and pads) all the way around not too long ago. So I wont be replacing them again for quite some time.
all 06+ have the same setup, doesnt matter if HR or not
Sorry, what I meant was 03-05 (OEM) vs 06+ (OEM). Are the rotors just the same size and the calipers were updated? Or do they have bigger size rotors too?
The rear calipers are technically not the same as the brackets are bigger, you need a full set of calipers and rotors for the swap. The way they look is normal, kinda weird but the slotted rotors really look out of place, there was more metal added to the rear but no bigger calipers so it looks out of place.

They don't look normal. They are only using the outer edge of the rotor.
See how close the caliper bracket is to the hub on the 04 front and then how far away it is on the 06+?
They have the curve in the bracket so it can get the pads deeper onto the rotor without hitting the center hat.
