Do you have aftermarket springs or are you staying stock?

Are you avoiding new springs to save $$?

Yes, do I need to take the old springs off the front and put them on the new struts?

I have Tokico ds2 adjustable shocks and love them. Don't cheap out, get new springs while everything is apart.

I agree with mr. sparco. You are going to have it all apart; that’s the time to replace the springs. Springs are not expensive. Do the research here on the amount of drop and spring type (linear or progressive).

Sorry in advance cause I don't want to Hi-jack ur thread.... But I've been thinking between those two struts for a while now..

Im currently on OEM struts and Eibach Sportline Springs which drops the car "1.7 inch - 2.3 inch's"... That is unless ur struts are 130k miles old... (cause I think the car sits lower with the shitty struts and handles like complete Crap...)

Now, in all reality I don't plan on adjusting my struts often (if ever), so what would everyones recommendation be for my set up?

Price is a big factor, but not willing to low ball this maintenance cost cause **** could get dangerous fast with suspension.

Thanks in advance guys!!

This thread will tell you everything you'll want to know about building a solid street suspension.

My devalued $.02.... Truthfully, I'm personally not a big fan of KYB due to a bad experience with them a LONG TIME ago. But I hear they're really a decent shock for the money. However, I'm a long time fan of Tokico - if you're not buying Konis or Bilstein - and were choosing between these two brands. Tokico Blues (HP) or better, Tokico D-Spec (less expensive than the K or B brands but very solid reputation amongst the Z crowd).

Again, IMO and YMMV.
