I installed JIC Coilovers in October. I lowered 2" in the back and 1 1/4" in the front. Around January or somewher around ther my car started doing a weird noice in the back suspension. The noice is produce when I'm in low gears around 1st and 2nd. The noise is very hard to explain never heard before. I took the car to same plce it was installed, so they could look at it and tell me if something was wrong. They said nothing was wrong with it, that the noise could be coming from it being so low or because of the weather for it being so cold.

It has passed like 3 weeks or 1 month since i took it to be looked at. The noise is still going on is just getting anoying.

Just wondering if anybody has had the same problem?
If you know was causing it?

Does it sound like tiking? like little rocks are hitting something inside the wheel weel? when ur in 1st and maybe 2nd and R gears?

 

I don't know? Is like a very wierd nosie bro. In aparments where my girlfriend lives I hear it every time. Yesterday i turned the radio off, so I could hera where is coming from and is coming from the left rear(driver's side) The noise is like a spring noise is something i never heard before...

yea i have that 2, i have no idea what it is. i have all stok springs and all that.

 

So you have the same noise, w/ stock suspension?

 

I have the same issue it sounds like a groaning sound. I hear it more when going u or down a driveway or inclined road in 1st or 2nd gear.

I have the Ebrich Pro set which drops the car 1 inch in the rear.

 

Yea all stock. I starting to think its the tranny....

 

I don't think is the tranny...

The noise comes when goign on small incline like driveway and also decline...

I probably my car to a the repair tech at infinity that has been recomeded...

If somebody knows why is this noise being caused from please advice or suggest...

I heard from another forum somebody suggested that it could problably be the tire hitting the fender.....

I'll try this on sunday.
