Default Front pads recommendation

I am looking for some recommendations. I have a 06 350z Enthusiast non brembo. It is my DD but I do autocross some. I am looking for low dust as well. I started with a Hawk HBS set but after getting 3 sets with 3 broken clips (2 on shipment) and little response from Hawk, I give up.

Any input would be appreciated

I love my Hawk HPS pads. I think next best thing would be OEM.

Thanks for the response. I ran an autocross track and lost my brakes (hot day in the desert). The OEM pads were scraped and cracked (2 years of DD and 5 autocross runs). I bled the lines and replaced that with ATE Blue. I was going to replace the front rotors (they are blued) after I got a set of Hawks pads functioning but that isn't going to happen after waiting 2 months for Hawk to do something.

Thanks

I've got EBC Redstuff in my Brembo's. Great performance, zero noise/dust. I've been using them in all my cars for 10+ years. Amazon has the best price usually, but check the EBC online catalog to get the correct part numbers before ordering. I've been really happy with the Centric C-Tek rotors, too.

Another thread where there will be about as many "favorites" as there are people here. Laff.....

I won't re-type so.... https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...-mu-hc800.html

Bottom line: after running stock, and HPS (no thanks on those, too noisy and while I don't really care about the dusting, these were extremely dusty....almost as bad as the stock pads on my Niz), my all-on favorite are the Carbotech 1521s on the street.

Mic

I've been combing thru this brake pad database: https://my350z.com/forum/autocross-r...-database.html

Lots of great info and feedback from members. Mostly track focused pads, but I have seen a few that drive to the track and the pads they use..

Another vote for Hawk HPS pads. They provide reliable breaking power and have minimal dust.

EBC yellows have great bite but they do squeak when coming to a stop
