Poly bushing to SPL (compression rod)
Hey guys,
I'm sure some of you have gone from a polyurethane bushing to the solid SPL type specifically on the compression rod (banana arm), and I wondered if you noticed any difference in steering response ?
I've currently got very high quality adjustable SuperPro one's on my compression rods but wondered if SPL would give even more response ?

Short answer is yes they will perform better.
Are they (and the noise) worth it for you?
Probably only if you are lowered and/or tracking the car with sticky tires. Poly LCA bushings will take you a long way. It is lowering the car that kill poly/rubber LCA bushings prematurely and increases the stress on the rack.

My personal favorite for a street car is Whiteline for the LCA and SPL for the compression arm. I really feel the compression arm should be a solid mono all from the factory.
