Default 350EVO sway bar bushings

Just a quick little update.
We are in the process of possibly switching bushings suppliers. The company that we are using now is very backed up at the moment and I have been in contact with a couple other companies. We do have 2 new prototypes out there on 2 cars right now. I am waiting to hear back the reports from them. One of which has 100 miles and no squeaks.
Another thing with switching could be a big reduction in pricing for the sway bar set. Everyone with the old stlye bushings once we get everything set will receive a new set of bushings.
Cheers

BJ,
Are you running the new bushings on your street Track with the Konis? That's good news if the bushings fix the squeak and bring down the cost.

Ah, Great news! Ever since I purchased 350EVO Swaybar last October, I only had those urethane bushings for about a month due to severe squeaking, and had to swap it out with stock rubber bushing. Even though rubber bushings sucked in terms of performance, had to have them on because they are quiet.
Can't wait until I get the new bushings!
Awesome job! BJ!

I will be trying a new set this week. If all goes well there will be a price break in the sway bars.

Thumbs up

I'll give a quick review...I've put about 150 miles on the car since installing the latest revision of the bushings. I'm glad to report that I have not heard a single peep out of them. I used some marine grease that I picked up at the local pep boys...lubed them up nicely, and threw them on. They feel nice and sharp, and literally haven't heard a single sound from them.

BJ also did a good job of getting them to me as soon as he had them. Thanks.

Glad to hear. I will be installing a brand new bushing tomorrow on the rearof my car.
Would have done it today but had to take our racecar down to the auto expo.
At least we are going in the right direction.

The cincy area new car show for the dealers. Our car is right across from the Ford GT40. Yeah I would take one of those!

BJ,

Any ball park figures as far as cost savings on your sways if you go with the new poly bushings?
