Hello everyone. I recently replaced my brakes on my Z and for some reason I just got the stupid idea that my Ebrake isn't fully disengaged. The car seems to drive freely and on a hill the Ebrake holds it perfectly. I adjusted the brake shoes like it said in the manual by tightening them all the way and then loosening them 6 notches. I then tightened the Ebrake cable through the coin tray to 6 and 7 notches just like in the manual . The car runs and drives mint. The only reason I think they're dragging is because on jack stands the front wheels spin freely but the rear wheels are kinda hard to spin which I don't know if it's because the Ebrake is stuck or because of the drive train because of rwd. What are some symptoms or tests I can do to check if I didn't properly adjust the Ebrake. Do you think if the Ebrake is dragging the rotors would be very hot? Also are all brake rotors suppose to be the same hot wise? My rear rotor feel a bit warmer. Thank you guys and apologies for the long question.

The front brakes should be hotter, but that will depend on the driving cycle. Considering the steps you took, it sounds like it's fine. Ebrakes tend to squeal a lot if they're dragging, especially at lower speeds, and you would definitely be able to feel the heat radiating out from the wheel after a few minutes on the freeway. The rear wheels will always be harder to rotate than the fronts, even in neutral, as they are still connected to the diff and driveshaft. If you have a VLSD, you'll also be spinning the rear wheel on the other side. All in all, there's just a lot more inertia to spin the rear wheels than the fronts.
