Shocks and Struts please help! Bouncing Z
My car is bouncing a lot and it’s scraping off tread from my tires. I don’t want to roll my fenders so I was thinking about buying new struts and shocks as they are probaly really worn. I think they are stock and I have 111,000 miles . I want to make my car stiffer but I also cannot afford 1,000 dollar shocks/struts. This has probaly been posted a million times but it’d help a lot. Thanks

Edit: I’m asking if for advice on which shocks/strut to buy

A "strut" setup simply means the shock and spring are mounted as 1 assembly (fronts). The rears are conventional. Oems are no longer made. You need shocks. Dunno about cost, I DIYd.
Bilstein B6 is an excellent choice, B8 if lowered.

If the tires are being torn up from hitting the inside of the wheel well, then it's definitely time for a suspension refresh.
if the tires are being shredded from hitting your fenders because they protrude past the body, then you need to roll your fenders or get higher offset wheels. I doubt new suspension is going to stop your tires from hitting your fenders unless you run some obscene amount of negative camber. If you do that, then it's going to prematurely wear the inside of your tires and you're going to have the same issue.
I passed a civic the other day on the highway with wheels/tires that stuck out about 2 inches past the body. The fenders were beat to crap. Stancenation, bro!
