Question Shocks/struts for daily driving? (noob)

Hello,

I use my 350z for daily commuting to work, and where I live has lots of good turns and windy roads. What kind of suspension do you recommend?

I was looking at Tokico Blue's on ebay, I dunno if that's a good route to go though.

I appreciate the help!

if your stock ones are not worn, there really is no point in replacing them

Consider Koni Sport Shock and Bilstein HD Shock.

Your experience?

A experience on a 350Z or a different car?

Was that car equipped with oem springs or lowering springs?

I ask, because I have never seen a 350Z owner make that kind of comment about the shocks. Not saying it can't be true because of that, just wanting proper details.

I know someone that has HP's with S-techs and he's never mentioned anything bad about the shocks other then maybe wishing he had went with a more performance oriented shock choice for autocross.

Remember folks. the 03/04 oem shocks are the stiffest of all. Most aftermarket choices are going to be softer and should ride better.

I don't recommend Koni's for anyone that doesn't mention tracking or auto-x. You pay a price premuim for them, which is really only warranted if your needing what makes them different vs other choices. They aren't really valved for comfort either. Under the circumstances I'd recommend D-specs instead. I would pay a price premium for the Bilstien's however, and they are cheaper then the Koni's. I've owned the Koni's and driven 2 cars that have the D-specs, so that's where I'm comming from.
