Question Brake lights not engaging

I feel like I've looked everywhere for an answer to this but seems people have a similar issue within other problems that are not related to mine... so I apologize if there is another thread.
05 350z auto 35th anniversary edition. First, I was having problems with it not starting, then the alarm randomly going off while driving or with key ingition. Seemed to be a problem with the key fob as since I haven't had issues with an aftermarket key, but the mechanic said anti-theft and to take it to Nissan. Before I got the chance to do so, my brake lights went out. Granted, they WILL turn on with the headlights but do not engage when pressing the brake. Everything else works perfectly fine. I've changed the lights, fuses, messed with the brake switch, nothing remedied it. My biggest point of concern is the brake lights at this point in time, but advice on either issue is appreciated.
Wondering if anyone has experienced something like this before? Or knows the Z go-to tech guy in the chicagoland area?

Just to get this straight, you press the brake pedal and the headlights turn on? And when you drive down the road, the alarm randomly goes off - like the headlights flash and the horn starts honking?

Sounds like it has become self-aware. Maybe it was a '58 Plymouth Fury or an '82 Trans Am in a former life.

Burned out bulbs. Most cars have dual filament bulbs for brake lamp bulbs. It would be a waste of money to pay a mechanic to swap bulbs.
